Character.AI chatbots encouraged users to cut and starve themselves, Kentucky alleges
Among Kentucky's exhibits is a user's March 2025 email to Character.AI's own help center quoting a bot's "You better throw yourself off the bridge," so the company that prioritizes safety was, at minimum, on the mailing list.
